Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation

The Easy, Suture-Free Treatment for Receding Gums

Receding gums. Not only can they dull your smile, they are unhealthy and unattractive. If you have them, you certainly know how embarrassing it is to smile with food stuck in those little pockets! Even worse, the areas of recession and exposed roots are extremely sensitive.

Until recently, the only way to treat receding gums was through gum grafting surgery, a procedure that is invasive, time consuming, and which leaves you with conspicuous sutures at the gumline.

Now, thanks to special, advanced training, the doctors at Great Neck Dental can treat and reshape receding gums without any grafting, suturing, or stitching! This breakthrough method is called the Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation, and it is revolutionizing the way we treat dental recession.

Why Choose Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation?

Those who suffer from gum recession can attest to how painful and embarrassing it can be. It can also lead to decay and even tooth loss if left untreated.

Treating receding gums is essential to lasting good health and an attractive smile, and the Chao Pinhole technique removes the biggest objections to gum reconstructive surgery – the grafting and suturing.

Because the procedure is done through a pinhole, it requires no stitches, and since there is no pain or swelling, several areas can be treated at one visit.

The Benefits of the Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation

  • No bleeding.
  • No prickly stitches.
  • No loss of connective gum tissue.
  • The results are immediate, and incredibly attractive.

How the procedure Works

Traditional methods for treating gum recession include removal of tissue from the roof of your mouth. This tissue is then sutured to the gum area to be treated.

Instead of this invasive procedure, the Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation allows the already present gum tissue to be maneuvered into place without cutting. A pinhole is made under the lip in the upper portion of your gums, and a delicate tool is inserted in the pinhole and used to loosen the gum tissue from the bone. This tissue is then draped it over the areas of recession. Collagen strips are applied to support the gum tissue and hold everything in place. The tiny pinhole will heal on its own in 24 hours, but the results are instantly beautiful.
