Dr. Claudia Bozzi Hochman has been a practicing restorative dentistry for 34 years, with her areas of interest encompassing esthetics, implantology and complete removable dentures. She understands how a well-designed smile and occlusion integrates with facial balance, beauty and function.
She received her B.S. in 1979 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984, both from SUNY Stony Brook; following graduation, she completed her general practice residency at Nassau County Medical Center. Dr. Bozzi Hochman was in private practice in Syosset for 20 years before joining Mid-Island Dental Associates in 2004, and throughout this time has attended numerous continuing education courses. In addition, she always keeps herself up to date on the latest technologies to ensure she treats her patients in the best way possible.
Dr. Bozzi Hochman also loves to give back to those that are less fortunate. In 2011, she founded Giving Through Smiles, a non-profit organization that brings full dental services to remote areas of Patagonia, Chile. Since then, she has organized a group of 40 dentists, dental technicians and students from the United States as well as Chile to collaborate in dental outreach missions in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Over 800 patients have been treated in these undertakings. Dr. Bozzi Hochman has been recognized for her efforts by the Lions Club and through interviews on News 12 and The Great Neck Record.
She and her husband Mark, who have recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, live in Great Neck and have a daughter, Emily.
