A general dental practitioner, Dr. Amoia practices at both the Mid-Island (Hicksville) and Great Neck locations. From improving one’s self-esteem to warming someone’s heart, Dr. Amoia believes a smile can be life changing. She also is a strong advocate of dental health.
Growing up in a dental office as a dental assistant, Dr. Amoia followed her dream to be a dentist and received a degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 1993. Following her dental education, she completed a two-year general practice residency at Goldwater-Bellevue. She has been teaching at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine since 1997 as a clinical assistant professor.
Dr. Amoia tries to accommodate all patient needs with flexible hours. To keep her patients at ease, she strives to treat everyone as if they are her own family members. When she is not treating her family of patients, she has a husband and a house full of her own children who keep her quite busy.
