In his position as a pediatric dentist, Dr. Tanny Josen’s goal is to make tooth care and visits to the dentist fun for children. Born and raised in Manhasset, he frequently volunteers at local schools, speaking to children about the importance of oral hygiene. During his visits, Dr. J (as the kids call him) educates children on proper dental health care to ensure that they start off on the right foot.
Dr. Josen completed a three-year hospital-based residency program in pediatric dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as chief resident of the dental department in his last year. He earned his undergraduate degree from Clark University in Massachusetts and graduated from NYU School of Dentistry in 1996 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
