Kid-Island Dental is the pediatric division of Great Neck & Mid-Island Dental Associates. At Kid-Island Dental, we realize that children have different dental needs than adults. Recently we have received many inquiries regarding the dental sealants we use to help prevent cavities in our pediatric patients. We would like to put parents’ minds at ease by advising that our sealants do NOT contain derivatives of bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical that has been linked to health risks. We use a resin-based sealant that contains no BPA and no BPA derivatives.
