Dr. Robert Berg is an alumnus of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After completing a year of general practice residency and three years of specialty training and education at the same institution, Dr. Berg received a certificate in Prosthodontics from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. He is also an assistant clinical instructor at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center and is the Prosthodontist on the Craniofacial team on which he lectures to residents and supervises their post-doctoral patient treatment. The Craniofacial Program brings together a team of experts that offer the very best of non-operative and surgical treatment for children with congenital or acquired abnormalities.
He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, American Association for Dental Research, International Association for Dental Research, and Academy of Osseointegration. He is a fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the Northeastern Gnathological Society and is a past president of the New York Section of the American College of Prosthodontists and President of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Alumni Association’s New York Chapter.
Dr. Berg is a frequent contributor to the dental literature having published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and abstracts. He is a reviewer for the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part B: Applied Biomaterials. Dr. Berg continues to lecture and conduct research in various areas related of the specialty of Prosthodontics.
